VIDEO: Man Fired Shotgun in Five Points, Police Say

Investigators need help to identify a man accused of discharging a shotgun in Five Points on August 11.

COLUMBIA, SC (WLTX) - The Columbia Police Department is asking for the public's help to identify a man accused of firing a shotgun in Five Points last Friday

Investigators say the incident happened shortly after 4:00 a.m. on Friday, August 11 at 2020 Devine Street. Police say they believe the man fired the weapon in the air for some reason. No one was injured and there was no sign of property damage, according to police. 

If you recognize the man this surveillance video or know anything about the incident, Columbia police ask you to contact Crimestoppers anonymously in any of the following ways:
