New Video Shows Gas Station Robbery

Richland County, SC (WLTX) - Richland County deputies have released a new surveillance video of a gas station robbery on from earlier this week.

Officers say at 6 a.m. on June 25, the suspect entered the Shell Gas Station at 5413 Forest Drive. On the video, the person can be seen pointing a gun at the store employee, forcing the clerk to give him cash out of the register.

The suspect had the employee put the money in a bag. Once he had the cash, he ran from the store.

Forest Acres police say 15 minutes later, the same suspect robbed the Corner Pantry at 3430 Forest Drive. In both case, the suspect was wearing a rag over his face to disguise his identity.
