Deputies: Men Took Woman Home, Sexually Assaulted Her

Richland County, SC (WLTX) -UPDATE: According to Richland County Sheriff's department Captain Chris Cowan, both suspects who were sought in an investigation of a woman who was sexually assaulted have been identified and are being cooperative in the investigation.

Investigators say last Friday morning, the suspects gave a 20-year-old woman a ride home from Five Points. The victim said the men told her that they lived near the same area that she did.

Investigators say the woman was given water on the ride home that she believed contained the "date rape" drug.

When they arrived at her apartment, the men are accused of sexually assaulting her.

Police say the men left in what they think is a black Acura. Surveillance cameras in Five Points captured images of the vehicle.

The victim said the men had heavy accents, and believed they were speaking Arabic.
