Group Got Money Using Fake $100 Bill, Clarendon Deputies Say

Clarendon County, SC (WLTX) - The Clarendon County Sheriff's Office is hoping to question individuals in connection with a counterfeit money case.

Deputies say three individuals exited in a black SUV in front of a Short Trip Convenient Store in the Paxville Community on Tuesday afternoon.

The pictured male and female walked into the convenience while an unknown black male entered the Herlong Thrift Store across the street, where he reportedly purchased $20 worth of merchandise with a counterfeit $100 bill.

The individuals are only wanted for questioning at this time, according to officials.
