LEXINGTON COUNTY, SC - (WLTX) -- One man is facing several charges after deputies say he fired gunshots at people in front of him following a crash Saturday morning.
34-year-old Martel Gaddis is charged with two counts of attempted murder and one count of possessing a weapon during a violent crime. Lexington County deputies say the incident happened at the intersection of Kitti Wake Drive and Emanuel Church Road.
Investigators say after talking to witnesses, it was determined that Gaddis fired a gun several times toward a man and woman after he crashed in the back of their car. He was later arrested at a nearby convenience store.
Gaddis is held at the Lexington County Detention Center awaiting a bond hearing. This incident remains under investigation by the Lexington County Sheriff's Department.
