Over 1,000 Gallons of Diesel Fuel Stolen, Police Say

Police believe two individuals were involved in the theft.

Calhoun County, SC (WLTX) - The Calhoun County Sheriff's Office is asking for help to identify two suspects in a diesel fuel theft case.

Surveillance tapes indicate a white and orange box truck, occupied by two individuals, parked in the rear of an Exxon gas station on Caw Caw Highway at 8:30 p.m. December 10.

Police say the driver parked the truck while the other suspect adjusted gas station security camera to face away from the underground diesel tanks.

An underground tank alarm reported 1,289.2 gallons of stolen diesel fuel.
