Pastor Accused of Exposing Himself to Women

Bishopville, SC (WLTX) - A Lee County pastor is being accused of exposing himself to a group of women around Coker College.

Xaiquiri Addison Matthews has been charged with indecent exposure. The website of the First Baptist Church of Bishopville shows he works there as a pastor.

An incident report states that back on November 9, they got a call of a flasher near the Coker College campus in Hartsville. The victims said as they were leaving the soccer practice field, a white car pulled up, then began to slow down. Eventually the driver's side door opened, and police say Matthews exposed his genitals,  performed a sex act, then drove away.

One of the victims said she'd seen the same man do the same thing about days earlier.

The victims were able to get the man's license plate number, and officers were able to track back to Matthews. The victims were able to identify Matthews from a photo lineup provide by officers.

The incident report also says other students reported similar incidents on October 27, November 7, 11 and 19.  In the November 19 incident, officers were able to pull Matthews over, and that's when they were able to take him into custody.
