LEXINGTON COUNTY, SC - Lexington, S.C. (WLTX) -- An officer was suspicious of a parked vehicle at a local business which led to the arrest of a suspect who they say broke into several vehicles.
According to the Lexington Police Department, a patrol officer checked out a car parked at a John Harris Body Shop located on Sunset Boulevard Wednesday night. After investigating, officers learned that the suspect had committed nearly two dozen break-ins at the business.
Officers say Tyler was detained and turned over to the Lexington County Sheriff's Department for charges since the shop was within their jurisdiction. Tony Marquis Tyler, 20, was charged with 10 counts of breaking into motor vehicles and one count of unlawful entry into enclosed places.
