Suspect Wanted for Robbing Columbia Motel at Gunpoint

COLUMBIA, SC (WLTX) - Columbia, SC (WLTX) - Richland County deputies are searching for a person who robbed a local motel at gunpoint. 

Officers say around 2 a.m. on November 27, the armed suspect walked into the Motel 6 7541 Nates Road in Columbia.

According to deputies, the suspect demanded money from the receptionist and stole an undisclosed amount of cash from the front desk.

Deputies have released a surveillance picture of the suspect.

Anyone with information on the incident may call or email Crimestoppers to receive up to a $1,000 reward, for information leading to an arrest.
