Second Arrest Made in Columbia Murder Case

Tyrone Cloyd Mack and Jashawn Livingston were arrested Friday; the search for an unknown third suspect is under way.

Columbia, Sc (WLTX) - The Richland County Sheriff's Department has arrested a second suspect they believe is involved with a murder case.

Tyrone Cloyd Mack, 25, was arrested on Chestnut Street just before 3 p.m Friday.

The incident reportedly occurred on the 400 block of Percival Road on December 4. While reporting to shots being fired, deputies found an unresponsive male victim on the 200 block of Cermack Street.

The victim was pronounced dead at Palmetto Health Richland, according to a report.

Another suspect, Jashawn Livingston, was taken into custody after a brief manhunt in the Rosewood area of Columbia at 11:30 a.m. Friday.

A third unknown suspect is also reportedly tied to the case.

The investigation is ongoing.
