Deputies: Suspect Robs Northeast Richland County Grocery

Blythewood, SC (WLTX) - Richland County deputies are looking for a suspect who they say robbed a grocery store at gunpoint.

Just before 10 p.m. on September 11, the suspect walked into the IGA store on Blythewood Road. The suspect pulled out a gun and demanded money from the safe, according to deputies, and after getting the cash and an employee's cell phone, ran from the scene.

No one was hurt during the incident. 

Surveillance photos captured images of the suspect. Anyone who recognizes the person is asked to call Crimestoppers at 1-888-CRIME-SC.
