W. Columbia Man Faces New Child Sex Charges

Lexington County, SC (WLTX) - A West Columbia man is facing new criminal sex charges involving children.

South Carolina Attorney General Alan Wilson says 52-year-old Lester Murray of West Columbia has now been charged with criminal solicitation of a minor, one count of sexual exploitation of a minor, and one count of dissemination of obscene material charges.

Wilson says Murray was originally arrested on April 4th after law enforcement got reports of a sex assault at a West Columbia home. At the time, he was charged with criminal sexual conduct with minor second degree.

Murray's phone was searched and examined after the arrest.

He was arrested again on June 4th, when the latest charges were filed.
