Man Wanted By U.S. Marshals May Be in South Carolina

COLUMBIA, SC (WLTX) - The United States Marshals Service and Crime Stoppers are asking for the public's help to locate a fugitive who may be in South Carolina.

Hainsley Dacosta Browne is wanted by the country of Barbados and by the US Department of State for Wire Fraud, according to the United States Marshals Service. Officials say Browne has several priors for rape, assault, and theft.

Authorities say they believe Browne may be in North or South Carolina and he may be using one of several aliases -- Carson Browne, Fabian Browne or Ronald Oscar.
