Deputies Search for Men Accused of Operating a Chop Shop

Sumter County, SC (WLTX) - The Sumter County Sheriff's Office has arrested one person and is looking for two others for operating a motorcycle chop shop.

On Friday, deputies responded a home on Seminole Road in reference to a possible stolen motorcycle. When they arrived, two men ran from the scene. The deputies investigated further and found several motorcycle frames and motorcycle parts that had been dismantled. Two of the motorcycles were confirmed stolen from North Carolina.

The home owner, 31-year-old Casey L. Wright was charged with Operating a Chop Shop. Warrants have been issued for Operating a Chop Shop on the two men who ran from the scene, 26-year-old Breion Orlanus Ross, and 29-year-old John Maurice Cousar.
