Newberry County, SC (WLTX) - Newberry County deputies say a family's pet that was stolen during a recent burglary has been found and returned
Bailey, a Yorkie Terrier, was taken in a robbery on Springhill Drive Thursday.
Saturday night the Newberry Sherrif's Department returned Bailey to his family. A concerned citizen turned the dog in, after seeing it wandering outside of a Chinese Restaurant.
The crime was the latest in a string of burglaries along Highway 176 between Highway 34 and Highway 773 since the beginning of the year.
Investigators have released a sketch of a person of interest in the case, who they believe is driving a navy blue Nissan Sentra. Investigators say the person has been seen in the area.
