MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. (AP) -- A Myrtle Beach counselor and a teacher have been accused of failure to report the sexual assault of a 9-year-old girl.
Police on Wednesday accused a 38-year-old teacher, Carole Eileen McMahon and a 38-year-old counselor, Julie Kristen Farmer Janis.
The Myrtle Beach Intermediate School employees are accused of failure to report the assault on the girl that occurred in October.
Janis is also charged with obstruction of justice.
Capt. David Knipes says officers are looking for the man accused in the assault.
Thirty-eight-year-old Andrea Lynn Cansino-Antemate was arrested earlier this month and accused of illegal conduct toward a child.
It was not clear if the women have lawyers.
A school spokeswoman says McMahon and Janis are on administrative leave while the case is investigated.
