$15,000 in Cocaine, Crack Seized by Officers in Lexington County

Lexington County, SC (WLTX) - Lexington County deputies have arrested four men and seized $15,000 in drugs as part of two-month investigation.

Officers took into custody the following suspects:

Shane Diquan Brooks, 17 - charged with five counts of distributing crack cocaine

James Alexander Gillings, 29 - charged with one count of trafficking in cocaine, one count of trafficking in crack cocaine, two counts of possessing a weapon during the commission of a violent crime, one count of unlawfully possessing a weapon.

Charles Eric Jackson, 34 - charged with possessing crack cocaine with the intent to distribute

Jamie Shannon Walker, 35 - charged with  two counts of unlawfully possessing a weapon, one count of possessing crack cocaine with the intent to distribute it.

Officers say an undercover investigation determined that cocaine and crack were being sold at Gillings's home on Gardners Terrace Road.

Investigators were then able to seize $11,300 in cocaine, and $4,000 in crack cocaine. They also got $1,980 in cash and several guns.

Sheriff James Metts says the case remains under investigation, and more arrests are possible.
