Richland County, SC (WLTX) - Richland County deputies are searching for whoever stole air conditioning units from a strip mall in Richland County.
Officers say the crime took place on June 6 between 2:40 a.m. and 6 am.
Deputies say the suspects took $20,000 in AC units from businesses located at 8006 Garners Ferry Road. The thefts also caused $310 in damage.
Investigators say the suspect or suspects drove up to the business in a white Ford van. They gained entry through a locked wooden gate behind Grace Hill Cleaners and Alterations.
