Columbia, SC (WLTX)-- A man is jailed facing weapons and assault and battery charges, after an incident Wednesday morning in Richland County.
A little after midnight, sheriff's deputies responded to a shooting call along the 800 Block of Bush River Road. They say when they got there they found a woman who said she heard multiple shots. Fragments from one of the bullets had apparently struck the woman, but deputies say her injuries are not serious.
Deputies later arrested 28-year-old Ahmad Zaghari. He is jailed at the Alvin S. Glenn Detention Center awaiting a bond hearing.
