Lexington County, SC (WLTX) - Lexington County deputies are searching for the person or persons who shot and killed a man and wounded a woman early Monday morning.
Officers say the incident took place at the West Vista apartments on Riverbend Drive at 2:12 a.m.
According to deputies, they got a call of a shooting at the location. When they arrived, they found the body of 33-year-old Terance Terell Jackson in the front seat of a Buick sedan.
After investigating, a female passenger in the car was found in the West Vista apartments. Deputies say she went into the apartments to get help after she was shot in the lower torso.
The woman was taken to the hospital where she is in intensive care. Officers say the Jackson and the female victim had met at work at Columbia Farms and had been out at a bar prior to the shooting.
