Richland County, SC (WLTX) - Richland County deputies have are searching for a suspect in connection with the robbery of a handicapped man.
The incident took place at 9:30 p.m. on July 17 at Longcreek Drive and Cambout Drive.
According to officers, the victim say he went to a store and was approached by a man who asked him for change. After giving the suspect some quarters, the two went their separate ways.
As the suspect walked home, however, the same man came up to him, pulled out a gun, and demanded money. When the victim said he didn't have any cash, the suspect went through the man's pockets, then ran away.
