Richland County, SC (WLTX) - Richland County deputies are investigating a shooting that left a man dead overnight.

The shooting took place Tuesday just before midnight on Hilo Street, which is off Leesburg Road.

Officers say when they arrived they found a man lying in the middle of the street with a gunshot wound to the upper body. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Officers have been questioning witnesses, but no arrests have been announced.
