Deputies: Teen Girl Found After Carjacking, Search Underway for Suspects

Richland County, SC (WLTX)- Richland County Deputies are searching for three men accused of stealing a car with a teenage girl inside. 

The incident happened in the 7600 block of Hunt Club Road around 1:30 a.m. Thursday. 

Deputies say a man was sitting inside his vehicle with 17-year-old Karisma Stevenson-Bowman  when three unknown male suspects approached the car with a gun.

That's when the male victim was told to give over the vehicle. The suspects then stole the vehicle with Stevenson-Bowman inside and drove off. 

Deputies say the teen and the car were found at 6:40 a.m. Thursday in an apartment complex parking lot on North Brickyard Road. 

Investigators say she was unharmed. She was taken to the hospital as a precaution. 

The Richland County Sheriff's Department is investigating.
