Columbia, SC (WLTX)- Most little girls cherish their long locks, but one little girl in Columbia decided to give it all up on Wednesday.
Anna Grace Shain, 9, marched into "Ashley's Alley" in Downtown Columbia today and told her stylist, Keri Bailes, that she wanted to get eight full inches of her beautiful red hair cut off. Anna is donating her hair to "Locks of Love."
A few years ago, Anna's cousin Stephanie was diagnosed with cancer. Stephanie had to undergo chemotherapy and lost all of her hair in the process.
Anna made sure another little girl going through cancer treatment would be able to get a beautiful wig to make her feel good.
Anna said, "I'm just happy to do it. I want to make someone else who has cancer smile."
