Charleston, SC (WLTX) - The City of Charleston has come up with a way for people to help the victim's of the massacre at a historic church in the city.
Charleston police say a suspect opened fire inside Mother Emanuel African Methodist Episcopal Church around 9 p.m. Wednesday night. Investigators believe the killings were a hate crime.
Charleston Mayor Joe Riley said the city's created the a fund in the church's name, and said it will be a vehicle for people to help victims, including with things such as funeral expenses.
Riley said people can go to any Wells Fargo location to donate. People can also mail a donation to the following address.
