News19 is proud to be the first television station in the Midlands to introduce a hybrid vehicle into it’s fleet. We believe that the environmental benefits and fuel efficiency associated with this car keep in line with our philosophy of always preparing for the future.

You’ll likely see News19’s Lewis Turner tooling around town in his white Ford Escape. While we are not in the position to endorse this particular hybrid, we do know that many of you are fuel conscious and are considering a switch to a more fuel friendly vehicle. That is why Lewis will keep a blog (diary) of his experiences.
