Columbia, SC (WLTX) -- Temperatures will be slightly warmer Sunday with highs in the lower 70s under sunny skies.
Saturday was sunny and cool. High temperatures were in the middle and upper 60s, but the breeze made it feel cooler.
Calm conditions are expected Sunday morning and low temperatures will be in the upper 30s to low 40s. This will make Sunday morning the coolest so far this fall.
The start of the week will see temperatures warming into the upper 70s to low 80s. However, a dry cold front will pass through the Midlands Monday night and milder temperatures are expected for the middle of the week.
Another cold front is forecast to pass through the area on Thursday and there will be a slight chance of a shower. Dry weather will return for the end of the week.
There will be little chance for rain for the remainder of October. At this time a freeze is not expected into the beginning of November.
