Animal Clinic Reopening Two Years After Flood

Four Paws animal clinic opens two years after the flood.

FOREST ACRES, SC (WLTX) - The Four Paws Animal Clinic is reopening in Forest Acres on Trenholm Road, right across from the Publix, following the 2015 flood.

Owners say they found 11 inches of water in their building after the historic flood and attempted to renovate, but the damage was too great. However, with the help of loyal customers and community members the clinic is in a new location.

"After the flood we had hundreds, if not thousands of clients reach out to us. And when we moved to our new location they were in and brings us food, helping us paint and donating things to us," Tracy Wales, Co-Owner of Four Paws said. "They have been supportive of us over the past two years while we were in our temporary location and we're just thrilled to be back in our community where we're surrounded by our clients."

The grand opening event will take place after the new year.
