Another Flea Market Inspection Lands Two in Jail

West Columbia, SC (WLTX) - Two men have been arrested after another inspection at the Metro Flea Market on Highway 1 in West Columbia for fake goods.

Sha Kim Lahmel Graham, 19, and Nigel Ali Moore, 38, have been arrested on charges of selling fake goods worth a combined total of $5,800.

Deputies say they were conducting an inspection of vendor booths at the flea market Wednesday afternoon when they found Graham and Moore selling fake goods.

The items included 20 National Football League and National Basketball Association team hats, 22 Nike Air Jordan athletic shoes, 24 AF1 athletic shoes, one Gucci belt and 115 compact disc recordings of commercially produced movies.

Graham and Moore are being held at the Lexington County Detention Center awaiting bond hearings.

Lexington County Sheriff A. Lewis McCarty said they will continue to regularly inspect vendor booths at the Metro Flea Market until counterfeit items are no longer sold.

This is the second time deputies have seized goods at the Metro Flea Market this in the last week.
