Boil Water Advisory Issued Following Water Main Break

One Boil Water Advisory has been issued for a part of the Midlands, while another has been repealed.

COLUMBIA, SC - (WLTX) -- After experiencing a 6-inch water main break, some water customers are advised to boil their water before use.

Customers of Byron Road from Wormwood Lane to Shelley Road in Richland County are told to boil their water for at least one full minute prior to drinking or cooking. Ice made from the water that has not been boiled should not be used for drinking purposes.
