Carolina Coliseum To Be Converted Into Practice Facility

Columbia, SC (WLTX) Often referred to as the 'House that Frank' built, the Carolina Coliseum will soon be converted into a practice facility.

Renovations are underway, the basketball floor has been sold and the seats are being sold as the coliseum becomes a full-time practice facility for the men and women's basketball teams.

The Coliseum dubbed the house that "Coach Frank McGuire Built" opened in 1968.

The last time the men's team played a game there was in 2002, the women hosted LSU earlier this year at the Coliseum.
