Chilly Forecast for Election Day

Columbia, SC (WLTX)- When you go vote you'll want to make sure to take a jacket with you. News 19 Meteorologist Efren Afante says it is going to be a cold start in many polling stations in the Midlands with temperatures in the upper 30s at 7:00 a.m. Tuesday.

By midday, we'll have mostly sunny skies as temperatures warm up into the upper 60's with some neighborhoods reaching the lower 70's. Before the polling stations close at 7:00 p.m. we'll have partly cloudy skies and temperatures in the mid 50's.
