Deputies: Rite-Aid Pharmacist Sexually Assaults Customer

Richland County, SC (WLTX) - The Richland County Sheriff's Department says they have a arrested a Rite-Aide pharmacist that sexually assaulted a customer this past Thursday.

Prabir Kumar Saha, age 42, has been arrested and charged with criminal sexual conduct 1st degree.

Deputies say the incident occurred at the Rite-Aid on Decker Boulevard when the victim went to fill a prescription and Saha, a pharmacist at the business, filled the prescription for her.

According to investigators, the victim went into the restroom to apply the medication and Saha entered the restroom and sexually assaulted her.

Deputies say the victim immediately left the store and reported the incident to law enforcement.

Sheriff Lott states, "the time frame of the incident is not a factor, getting you the proper care and assistance is."

Saha is being held at the Alvin S. Glenn Detention Center.
