Deputies: Three arrested for Armed Robberies

Columbia, SC (WLTX)  Three men have been arrested for armed robbery and attempted armed robbery according to the Richland County Sheriffs Department. 

According to deputies on Wednesday September 14 on Brook PIne Drive at the Brook Pines Apartments Jeremy Thornburg, 25, Davon WIse. 18 and Montravious Williamson, 24 along with an unidentified suspect presented a handgun and attempted to rob two male victims inside the apartment building.  The sheriff stated that the victims fled the area in an attempt to flee, that is when the suspects fired shots at them.  One of the victims returned fire striking one of the suspects, striking one of the suspects, WIlliamson, in the lower body.  

Williamson was transported to Palmetto Health Parkridge in a red or maroon Nissan Altima, investigators are seeking the identity of the driver of the vehicle. 

The Sheriff stated that one of the victims suffered non-life threatening injuries escaping the suspects as he fled the area; he was transported by EMS to Palmetto Health Richland Hospital. Sheriff Leon Lott stated that Wise and Thornburg have been transported to the Alvin S. Glenn Detention Center; Williamson will be transported upon release from the hospital. Sheriff Lott is asking for assistance in identifying the driver of the Nissan Altima and the fourth suspect involved. 
Jeremy Thornburg  is charged with attempted armed robbery, Davon Wise is charged with attempted armed robbery, and Montravious Williamson  will be charged with attempted armed robbery once released from the hospital. The Sheriff added that Williamson was out of jail on bond for two previous armed robbery charges.
