Columbia, SC (WLTX) - A new report is out that shows how much money state agencies spent on travel during the fiscal year that ended June 30.
The report, complied by the South Carolina Comptroller General's office, shows as a whole state agencies spent a total of $81.1 million on travel, which is up 7.4 percent from last year,while the state's general fund revenues increased by only 4.5 percent from last year.'
The travel report details all travel-related expenditures, including amounts paid for conference registration fees, by all agencies that received money in the state's 2016 budget.
It separately identifies in-state travel and out-of-state travel for each agency. You can see the full report below.
