Sign Honoring Boy Killed in School Shooting Unveiled

Anderson County, SC (WLTX) - A sign honoring Jacob Hall, the six-year-old boy killed in a school shooting, has been unveiled in the Upstate.

The intersection of Interstate 85 and Highway 24 in Anderson County is now known as the Jacob L. Hall Memorial Interchange. Jacob's parents will receive a replica of the sign and a signed copy of the state resolution that created it.

Hall was shot at Townville Elementary School on September, and died several days later at the hospital. After his death, there was a large outpouring of support from the community and the nation, and a large superhero themed funeral was held in his honor.

A juvenile suspect was arrested in connection with the shooting and is still being held in custody.
