BATESBURG-LEESVILLE, SC - (WLTX) -- A man is facing charges after attempting to leave a convenience store where shots were fired, according to the Lexington County Sheriff's Department.
24-year-old Tony Robinson is charged with attempted murder, possessing a weapon during a violent crime and unlawfully carrying a pistol. Deputies say Robinson got into a fight inside the business on Augusta Highway before gunshots were fired.
Investigators say Robinson fired a gun at two other people and their car. They say he and the other people involved fled the parking lot, but Robinson was detained near the store. No one was struck by the bullets.
Robinson is held at the Lexington County Detention Center.
