Columbia, SC (WLTX) -- Sunday was the coldest morning so far this season. High temperatures will be above normal to start the new workweek but that won't last.
Sunday morning temperatures fell into the middle to upper 30s for many parts of the Midlands. Here are some of the coldest co-op reports from Sunday:
The Columbia airport dropped to 38 degrees, but hit 75° during the afternoon Sunday.
Temperatures will be even warmer Monday afternoon. High temperatures will be in the lower 80s for the area. Our normal high temperature for this time of the year is 74 degrees.
A dry front will move through the area late Monday. This will be a dry frontal passage, and temperatures will be slightly cooler Tuesday. High temperatures Tuesday will be in the lower to middle 70s.
Mostly sunny conditions are expected Wednesday, but a few more clouds will be possible Thursday as another front pushes into the region. Right now, there is little chance for rain with this front.
The dry conditions will continue for the end of the workweek and into the weekend. Temperatures will be a little above normal Friday and Saturday
