Columbia, SC (WLTX) - Dry weather is likely to continue through next weekend. It will be mild on Saturday with high clouds spreading across the Midlands. A cold front will pass through the area overnight and it will be sunny and cooler for Sunday.
High pressure will dominate the weather for the start of the week. Skies will be clear which will mean abundant sunshine into mid-week. However, it will be quite chilly at night with frosts expected for Monday and Tuesday mornings. There will likely be freezes again for many of the low-lying areas.
Temperatures will warm into the low 70s for Wednesday and Thursday. Skies will become partly cloudy in advance of a cold frontal passage Thursday night. The front will once again be a dry frontal passage. It will be dry and a little cooler for Friday. The dry weather is expected through next weekend.
