Olive Garden Delivers Free Lunch to First Responders

Olive Garden delivered food to first responders in the community.

(WXIA, WLTX) -- First responders across the nation got free lunch on Labor Day courtesy of Olive Garden.

More than 800 Olive Garden restaurants nationwide served up lunches to first responders as a way to say thanks, according to a news release.

Here in the Midlands, at least two agencies--the Columbia Police Department and the Irmo Fire Department--let us know they were the recipient of the generosity.

This is the 15th year of the campaign.
