Richland County, SC (WLTX) -- Recreation Commission Head James Brown III bonded out of jail Saturday afternoon, according to the Richland County Detention Center.
It was not confirmed to News19 the time that Brown left the facility or the amount of his bond. Brown was taken into custody Friday afternoon after Richland County Sheriff Leon Lott said he approached a female victim in a "threatening manner" outside of the Richland County Recreation Commission.

The arrest came two days after he was indicted on a charge of misconduct in office. It was announced by the commission that he'd been suspended without pay.
