Rings Stolen From Former Gamecock Football Player

Columbia, SC (WLTX) - Current USC students aren't the only ones worried about safety it even runs to alumni.

Monday, three rings were stolen out of a former Gamecocks car in Five Points and he wants them back.

Kyle Nunn was an offensive lineman with the gamecocks from 2008 to 2012 and he is upset that someone would steal his prized possessions that he worked so hard to get.

An incident report says that his rings were sitting in a cup that was holding change in his car.

Nunn says his car was unlocked but he is still shocked that someone would go in his car and steal his rings.

The rings were from the teams first 11 win season and SEC East Title from 2010. His Capitol One Bowl ring was also stolen.

Nunn coaches at Heathwood Hall and wanted to show his guys the rings for motivation as the season started and he was also set to bring them to a charity event.

"I was going to show my guys what its like to win your region and what could happen, because we are starting region play against Cardinal Newman," said Nunn.

"I also have a children's hospital charity event coming up and I was supposed to wear the rings and show some kids that had terminal illnesses so I would really like to get those rings back, I have a reward for those rings and I'm just begging the public to please help me. "
