Sections of I-20, I-95 Blocked Due to Storm

Columbia, SC (WLTX) - The damage from Hurricane Matthew has led to the closure of two of South Carolina's largest roadways.

Interstate 20:

I-20 is blocked between 1 mile west of Exit 108-Jamestown Road and 3 miles east of Exit 123-South Carolina Highway 22. The blockage effects all lanes. 

I-20W: between 3 miles east of Exit 123-South Carolina 22 and 1 mile west of Exit 108-Jamestown Road
Obstruction on roadway. All lanes blocked.

Downed trees are to blame in both cases.

Interstate 95:

I-95 is closed in both directions from mile marker 49 to the Georgia state line.

I-95 is also closed between mile marker 186-187 as you get close to the North Carolina border.
