Democratic Candidates for Governor Meet

Ridge Spring, SC (WLTX) -- The Saluda County Democratic Party hosted a Gubernatorial Meet the Candidate Forum for Democratic Candidates Thursday evening.

Candidates vying for the state's highest office met with community leaders and democratic voters at the Historic Star Center in Ridge Spring, SC.

Candidates answered questions from a panel composed of news media reporters and community leaders. News 19's very own Darci Strickland moderated the event.

Senator Robert Ford, Senator Vincent Sheheen, Dwight Drake, and Mullins McLeod answered questions designed to educate community leaders and voters about each candidate's policy positions, fiscal plans, and other intended political initiatives.
