Manning, SC (WLTX) - A popular video supporting Democratic U.S. Senate candidate Alvin Greene has been pulled from YouTube.
Last week, a video was uploaded to the popular video site called "Alvin Green is on the Scene."
The rap song featured images of Greene, its own lyrics, and random footage of people in crowds and of basketball superstar LeBron James.
In the lyrics, the song said "Alvin Greene is the one for you, 'cause he's unemployed too."
In the credits, it said that Greene and his father produced the video, but that wasn't true; in fact, a video producer from San Francisco was behind it.
Greene told the media that while he wasn't behind the video, he liked it.
However, the video contained footage from a 2009 Tea Party march owned by Frank Strategies. The group said the Alvin Greene video violated their copyright and licensing, though the footage used in the YouTube clip is easily accessed on the group's website.
