Sumter, SC (WLTX) - The City and County of Sumter will be under a curfew again Sunday night into Monday morning.
The curfew is in effect from 8 p.m until 7 a.m.
As of Sunday afternoon, more than 29,000 customers were without power in the greater Sumter area. Sumter Mayor Joe McElveen asked people to remain patient as crews work to get the lights back on.
City officials say there are several intersections within the city that aren't working, so people need to be very careful while driving.

SHELTER – A post-storm shelter has been opened at the Parks and Recreation building at 155 Haynsworth St. next to Patriot Hall.
GOVERNMENT OFFICES – City and County government offices will be closed Monday.
SCHOOLS – The Sumter County School District has canceled schools for Monday
Staff and volunteers with the Sumter County Emergency Management Division are continuing to man the Emergency Operations Center to address issues as they arise and coordinate recovery efforts.
