Suspects Robbed Women in Five Points, Columbia Police Say

Columbia, SC (WLTX) - Columbia police are looking for three suspects who they say robbed two young women in Columbia's Five Points over the weekend. 

Officers say the crime took place around 3 a.m. in the 800 block of Harden Street, in the middle of the city's entertainment district.

Officers say the three suspect initially were friendly with the victims while they walked through a parking lot. However, police say the trio stole the women's cell phones, cash, and wallets before running away.

The woman were not physically hurt.

It was the second crime in Five Points that night. Two hours earlier, a man fired shots about a block up the road on Harden. Officers have not yet made an arrest in that case.
