Teens Arrested After Throwing Rocks at Cars

Lexington County Deputies have arrested two teens who they say were throwing rocks at cars.

(WLTX) -- Two Lexington County teens have been arrested after deputies say they vandalized several cars, according to the Lexington County Sheriff's Department.

Deputies say the two individuals damaged at least a dozen cars on Highway 321 Friday and Saturday nights. A 15-year-old boy from Gaston and a 16-year-old girl from West Columbia were arrested Saturday night near the intersection of Highway 321 and Wilbur Road. The teens fled behind a nearby business as they were under arrest and are charged with burglary and vandalism.  

Officials say they were transported to the South Carolina Department of Juvenile Justice. These incidents remain under investigation. Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-888-CRIMESC.
