The Race For Lexington Coroner Will Be a Runoff

Columbia, SC (WLTX) The race for Lexington county coroner will be decided in a runoff.

Seven candidates were vying for position of Lexington coroner and Margaret Fisher and Brian Setree both had the most votes and will be in a runoff race on July 15.

All the numbers are unofficial and will be verified, Fisher had 2,688 votes and Setree had 2,615 votes. Over 10,500 people voted.

Clay Burkett 475

Margaret Fisher 2,688

Jay Phillips 1,924

Andrew c. Richbourg 609

Brian Setree 2,615

Jason L. Willoughby 310.

Votes will be certified Thursday morning according to the Lexington County Elections.
