Victims in Fatal Columbia Club Shooting Identified

Richland deputies say two men are dead after a shooting at "The Black Pearl" nightclub on Broad River Road.

Columbia, SC (WLTX) - Richland County deputies seek two male suspects after a shooting at a Columbia club early Wednesday morning.

Investigators say just after 3 am, they found two men with gunshot wounds at "The Black Pearl" on Broad River Road. They were both pronounced dead on the scene.

Richland County Coroner Gary Watts has identified the victims as 26-year-old Torance L. Peoples and 23-year-old Trevonne J. Judge.  Both died of a gunshot wound to the upper body. 

Peoples death came on his birthday. 



An argument between two groups lead to multiple shots fired, according to a deputies. 

Deputies say an individual who may have valuable information is being questioned. The investigation is ongoing.
